a restful, peaceful, private pause
coiled in flesh and fantasy
gently swimming, cool and quiet sleep
barely breathing
barely, barely in the silky sheets

danae dreams

spinning higher and higher
shameless stars, golden sweet
deeper longer stronger
round and round through stilly creeping clouds
light and color, joy and bliss
freedom from wake, reality escapes at last
gone for now, gone forever
